Forwood Cloud "Duke" Wiser III started EDG with a small group of partners in 1993 when they acquired the manufacturing operations of Engineering Dynamics Limited (EDL) of Carleton Place, Ontario.  Duke has had a major role in the development and refinement of modern electronic polarized-media technology and instrumental in developing the company's cutting-edge products.  Prior to forming EDG, Wiser was involved in the application and installation of kinetic wind energy windmills in Oklahoma.  He received his Bachelors of Science degree from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.

Marty Cummins joined Environmental Dynamics Group as C.O.O. when it was acquired by EMC, a small holding company, in 1997.  For the eight years prior, Marty worked as a venture capitalist as president of Vail Princeton, where the company invested in real estate and growing companies in emerging markets. For eight year as General Manager for Prime Motor Inns, parent company to Ramada and Howard Johnson hotel chains, his responsibilities included operating over 500 properties including several Marriott, Sheraton and Holiday Inn hotels.

After graduating from Purdue University with a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering, and where he played golf on a Purdue golf team that competed for the NCAA National Championship, Carl joined the heating and air conditioning industry where he has spent the last thirty years. Carl’s successful career in HVAC started with the ownership of his own company for over ten years, Advance Sheet Metal, specializing in commercial and industrial HVAC. Carl was the first sales manager at United Air Temp, now one of the top ten residential replacement contractors in the U.S. With another HVAC contracting company, A-Advantage, as sales manager, revenues increased tenfold in just over five years. Carl joined EDG in 1996 and was responsible for organizing the company’s sales organization. Carl is an active member in ASHRAE and the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. Carl and his wife Patty have three daughters, all married, and five grandsons.

Rob Goodfellow has been involved in sales and marketing, working with residential and commercial HVAC contractors and distributors for almost twenty years. His career includes many years experience with Indoor Air Quality at various levels. Prior to joining EDG in 2004, Rob spent seventeen years with Rheem Manufacturing Company where he was responsible for several functions including Marketing Manager, OEM Sales Manager, International Sales Manager and Promotional Programs Manager. Rob graduated with a BSBA from the University of Arkansas and the Graduate School of Sales and Marketing Management at Syracuse University.

Paul Cartularo has been in the HVAC industry for nearly twenty-five years, in sales and managerial positions including contractor, distributor and manufacturers including Trane and Rheem. Paul’s experience includes residential work and commercial sales. He has consulted with engineers and been involved with design of conventional HVACR systems, ATC systems and geothermal systems. Paul has served on several advisory boards including the PJMD Electrical Alliance and the Philadelphia Suburban Gas Association and has been actively involved with ASHRAE and ACCA. He is a certified Indoor Air Quality Professional. Paul enjoys sharing his experience and has been successful in training owners, sales people and technicians about the value of IAQ as it relates to customer service and profitability, since joining EDG in 2002. His training techniques are straightforward, focusing on doing what is in the best interest of the customer.

Paul earned a Bachelors of Science in Accounting and an Associates degree in Criminal Justice. He and his wife Bonnie have one daughter and one son.

Brett Larsen – Southeast Region Manager – Residential Products

Brett Larsen joined Dynamic in 2000 with over ten years of HVAC industry experience, having worked in every facet of the business, from helper to department manager. His introduction to HVAC came aboard naval vessels in the U.S. Navy where he served for six years and took part in the first Gulf War. With Pardee Heating & Air/Service Experts, a highly successful residential service and replacement company in Charleston, South Carolina, Brett was IAQ and Maintenance Department Manager. He has been training technicians and replacement sales people for many years, helping them and their companies improve their level of service to their customers. Brett has a passionate and motivating training style. His techniques are not only straightforward, but are also comfortable for both the tech/estimator and the homeowner, always focusing on doing what is in the best interest of the client.

Brett is married with one daughter and one son, an avid fisherman, and enjoys helping his church with community service.

Ken Lorenc has been involved in sales and service, working with residential and commercial contractors, for over fifteen years. His career includes experience with Indoor Air Quality at several levels in the distribution channel including distributor and manufacturer. As a trainer and educator, Ken has been training technicians and sales people for over ten years, helping them to improve their level of service to their clients. Ken’s clear, effective and informative communication style is straightforward and comfortable for both the tech/estimator and the homeowner, focusing on doing what’s in their best interest. Ken constantly updates his presentations to stay in step with the changing IAQ business. Since joining Dynamic in 2003, Ken has won numerous sales awards including the number one region in 2005 and 2004.

Ken earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of St. Francis. He and his wife Denise have two daughters with whom they enjoy camping, softball and soccer. Ken is also active in the local Community Christian Church.

Kyle Finch joined Dynamic in January 2007, where he continues a career in the HVAC industry that started in 1996.  Most recently Kyle served as a District Sales Manager for Research Products where he spent over seven years helping dealers understand indoor air quality and manage successful contracting companies though effective training and targeted promotional advertising.  He has also worked as an outside HVAC salesman for Ferguson Enterprises in Carrollton, Texas and as a manufacturer’s representative, working with contractors, wholesalers, homebuilders, and OEMs.

Kyle earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Abilene Christian University.  He attended college under a full football scholarship playing offensive tackle.  Kyle and his wife Stacey have four children - two boys and a set of twin girls, and are involved with local church activities.

With over 20 years of experience in the HVAC industry, Mark Atherstone has worked in virtually every facet of the heating and air conditioning business.  As a past partner/owner of Artic Aire Heating & Air Conditioning, he was an integral factor in developing the firm into a highly successful HVAC residential service and replacement company in Northern California.  The company received numerous manufacturer and industry awards, including recognition as the “Contractor of the Year” by the Electrical & Gas Industries Association, an unprecedented three years in a row.

Mark has trained HVAC technicians and comfort advisors, both independently and as a senior instructor for several high-profile HVAC member organizations, helping field personnel and their companies improve the level of service provided to their clients.

Mark has a relaxed, low-key communication style when instructing field personnel.  His techniques are not only straightforward, but are also comfortable for both the tech/advisor and the homeowner, focusing on doing what is in the best interest of the customer.
